Overview
Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area/service.
Required SkillsLicense:• Current license as a Physician Assistant by the State of Kentucky.
Certifications:• Current American Heart Association CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of employment.• Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
