Overview
Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area/service.

*Minimum Education*
Master’s degree from Physician’s Assistant program – Required

BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – Required If not current upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Licenses: Current Tennessee PA licensure or temporary permit to practice in Tennessee – Required.
With temporary permit, PA licensure must be obtained within state required timeline.
