IDR is seeking a Power BI/Platform Developer to join one of our top clients in Lawrenceville, GA. This role involves providing expert end-user support for existing Power BI Reports and Dashboards, as well as designing, developing, and maintaining new custom-built data models and reports. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Power BI/Platform Developer:
– Design, develop, and deploy custom reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI that meet business requirements and provide actionable business insights.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business intelligence requirements, translating them into technical specifications and useful reports.
– Connect Power BI with various data sources and services, including SQL Server, Oracle, SAP BW, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
– Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power BI reports and dashboards, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
– Offer training and support to end-users and provide guidance on effective use of Power BI.
Required Skills for Power BI/Platform Developer:
– Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
– 3-5 years of experience in developing reports with Microsoft Power BI.
– Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.
– Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, SAP BW, Salesforce, and other data sources.
– Familiarity with SSRS and similar reporting tools.
