ARC Group is currently looking for a Pre-K Teacher to join our client's Charter School in Milwaukee, WI. Job Description: As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for early childhood education and development for our young learners. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and exploration.
- Provide individualized support and instruction to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a cohesive learning community.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student assessments, attendance, and other pertinent information.
- Participate actively in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- Adhere to all licensing requirements, safety protocols, and school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid licensure in Regular Education at the Early Childhood or Early Childhood to Middle Childhood level (e.g., PK-3, K-6, PK-8, K-8).
- Previous experience working with young children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
