Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Principal QA Engineer:
- This is a 12-month contract role with a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the LA offices 2-3 days a week.

Own the QA process for your teams or products, working closely with software engineers, content developers, artists, producers, project managers, and product leadership

Develop quality activities for every stage of the software development life cycle, guided by our client’s Test Policy

Partner with your teams and other craft leaders to arrive at more efficient solutions to everyday problems and improve delivery
Required Skills for Principal QA Engineer:
- Video gaming industry background experience
- 8+ years Software Quality Assurance Experience, with multiple proven product successes
- Experience defining and implementing test approaches as part of an overall test strategy
- Experience coaching QA team members on test design, planning, and execution
- Experience driving continuous improvement processes within a team
- Experience tasking remote teams and providing feedback on effectiveness
- Preferred development experience across several platforms; mobile, console, and PC
- Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST), ISTQB Expert Level, ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT)
