**Description**

We are in search of a Principal User Experience Designer DIG specializing in consumer websites to join our Marketing and Digital Experience Team. As a Principal UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our patient’s online experiences. Collaborating within a cross-functional team, your mission will be to convert customer insights into actionable design solutions, prototype innovative experiences, and chart the course for the enhancement of patient interactions on our consumer websites. Your expertise will contribute to the cultivation of a service-oriented mindset throughout our organization. **Essential Functions:**

Lead the development of design deliverables that underpin strategic initiatives. These include distilling user research findings, formulating design principles, crafting journey maps, personas, prototyping solutions, and owning, championing, and governing our bespoke design system.

Champion holistic digital design practices by employing an array of human-centered design methodologies and frameworks, ensuring a comprehensive approach to solving user-centric challenges.

Employ both quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify obstacles in the customer experience and pinpoint the root causes of these issues.

Actively communicate, advocate for, and exemplify a human-centered design process throughout the organization, fostering a culture of user-centricity.

Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager User experience to conduct user research initiatives, extracting valuable insights that inform design decisions and drive actionable improvements.

**Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

Familiarity with voice of customer programs and analytics tools.

Ability to demonstrate strong visual communication skills in the creation of design deliverables.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum design and development process.

Strong interpersonal communication skills and presentation ability to simplify complex concepts, deliver key messages, and influence decisions.

Ability and interest in mentoring junior team members.

A high level of proficiency working with design and rapid prototyping tools like Figma.

**Required qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree Relevant Design discipline such as service design, UX design, graphic design, design research, or design management.

+ Upon hire: Google UX Certification or Equivalent

+ 7 years Relevant work experience

+ 5 years Leading digital user experience design

+ 5 years Managing design systems
