We are now hiring a Nurse Extern for our Recovery department. We offer a positive work environment where personnel work as a team to provide high-quality care.
This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) may participate with the Registered Nurse (RN) in providing supervision of a practical nursing student/nurse extern.

Qualifications:**
· Must be enrolled in an approved nursing school within the United States or have a current KY CNA/LPN license.
· Candidates must be in good standing with the approved school of nursing and clinically competent to perform these acts.
· Must graduate program within 13 months of hire/transfer date.
· Basic Life Support (BLS) required 30 days from hire date
