Everest Recruiting has a immediate opening for a Quality Inspector located in Clermont, FL for a Manufacturing Facility.
With this position, you will be working on a computer all day and need adequate computer knowledge and skills. Visual and dimensional inspection on finished and mold products.
Shift/Hours- 1st, 6:45am-3:15pm
Pay- $14.50/hr.
Essential Job Functions/Tasks:
1. Collects product samples and prepares them for laboratory analysis or testing.
2. Inspects and functionally tests materials, parts, subassemblies, finished goods and packaging for damage, defects, or shortages using quality inspection plans, gauges, and standards charts.
3. Records data of inspections for use with statistical analysis.
4. Communicates with internal customers to exchange information regarding products, materials, and services to support improvements and root-cause analysis.
5. Rejects and isolates products not meeting quality specifications, notifies appropriate team members of discrepancies or shortages, and records non-conformances per internal processes.
6. Counts or estimates quantities of materials, parts, and products.
7. Compares product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and weights.
8. Participates in efforts to improve quality documentation focused on strengthening the overall quality management system.
9. May require ability to work other shifts and work overtime as determined by the supervisor.
Qualifications: Education/Training Required and Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required and Preferred:
Minimum one year of experience in a fast-paced work environment.
