Overview
Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Provides direct patient and indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office/clinic policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient’s condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.

• Certified by the State of Kentucky as a limited license radiation operator required.
Required SkillsCertifications:Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire date.Completion of Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) within 90 days of hire.Must be registered as RMA.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Work Experience• One year of experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist.
