(This is a remote position for candidates located in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah.).  

We have been engaged in a search for a Recruiter on a contract-to-hire basis.  In this role, the individual will: 

  • Partner with hiring managers to source, recruit and provide shortlists for frontline call center, sales, technical and mid to senior management professionals.   
  • Partner with hiring managers to get a clear view of their hiring needs and develop a hiring plan for each recruiting assignment.
  • Map role criteria define position descriptions and document specifications with the help of the hiring manager.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing tools and search strategies to locate talent for niche “hard to fill” positions or positions in niche markets.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge about the position requirements.
  • Pre-Screen candidates and coordinate with hiring managers to schedule phone and in-person interviews.
  • Manage candidate and hiring manager expectations throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage requisition activity and candidate status within the applicant tracking system. 
  • Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion.
  • Network with potential candidates to promote our employer’s brand and reduce time-to-hire.
  • Build strong talent pipelines and help hire skilled colleagues for assigned positions.
  • Devise and carry out a targeted research strategies for hard-to-fill, high-profile positions.
  • Follow up with hiring managers and assist with the new hire’s transition and onboarding process.

The appropriate individual will have the following experience:

  • Three years of professional recruiting.  (Corporate recruiting is a plus).
  • Proficiency in using an ATS (Workday highly desirable).  
  • CareerBuilder and a strong background in Linkedin for sourcing/posting is highly desirable.
  • Creative candidate sourcing tools and headhunting methods including familiarity with Boolean Search, PowerSearch and X-Ray searches in order to source and locate talent.
  • Recruiting in technical and sales verticals is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of the full-cycle recruitment processes that include sourcing development, job posting, interview coordination, effective negotiation / influencing skills and creating offer letters.
  • Self-driven with a track record of working effectively remotely.
  • AIR’s Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) preferred.
