Overview
The Clinical Dietitian provides and documents nutrition care to inpatients. This includes nutritional screenings, assessments, reassessments, counseling, and education. The Clinical Dietitian develops educational materials and maintains current nutrition information; actively participates in the quality and performance improvement process of clinical nutrition services; and communicates nutrition information to other health care professionals.
* Collaborates with pharmacists, nurses, physicians and others in the provision of specialized nutrition support (TPN, TF) and general nutritional care.
* Assists with data collection and analysis to monitor and improve the nutrition care process.
* Conducts in-service training and educational programs for hospital employees as is appropriate.

Required – Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or nutrition
*Minimum Work Experience*
Preferred – Health care environment.
*Required Licenses*
License as Registered Dietitian from Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (New hires have 6 months to obtain)
Certified Pump Trainer (Preferred)
Certified Diabetes Educator (Preferred)
