**Department Details**
Our close-knit team is looking for a Clinical Research Coverage Analyst! Prior experience with creating Medicare Coverage Analyses and/or study budget analyses within a Clinical Trials Management System is required! This opportunity is REMOTE, Monday-Friday (40-hours a week) and offers competitive pay and benefits (401k, Health, Dental, Vision).
**Job Summary**
Creates Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCAs) for all studies that involve human subjects’ research to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations for coding and billing, including review of study protocols and budgets originating with Pharma partners, the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) and Sanford Investigator-Initiated Research. In addition, the incumbent will create corresponding internal budgets for study. Provides quality assurance checks for externally completed Coverage Analyses. Build study calendars within the Sanford Research Clinical Trial Management System, OnCore. Presents approved Coverage Analysis to Sanford Research Business Compliance Team for review and approval. In addition, reviews research claims billed through the electronic health records system to ensure consistency with approved coverage analyses.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of two years’ experience in creating Medical Coverage Analysis required.
Minimum of two years’ experience in clinical research, coding or clinical trial billing preferred.
Prior experience creating study budget analyses preferred.
Prior experience creating Medicare Coverage Analysis and/or Study Budget Analyses within a Clinical Trial Management System preferred.
Prior experience negotiating with sponsors or CROs preferred.
