Overview
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Medical Surgical Telemetry.
Reports to: Director Telemetry
*Minimum Education*
Associate’s degree in Nursing or RN Diploma – Required
*Minimum Education*
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – Preferred
*Required Skills*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.

Certifications:
American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required to be current upon hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 6 months of hire

Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure – Required
