Overview
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in an emergenct care environment. Able to recognize, triage, assess, and effectively treat life threatening conditions.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
BLS within 30 days of hire
ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire
Handle with Care within one year of hire
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of VA, or Compact licensure as a Registered Nurse which includes the Commonwealth of VA, an din good standing with the Board.
Ability to regularly accept on call assignments and ability to report to hospital within 30 minutes of notification.
