Overview
Description – External
Utilizing the nursing process, the staff nurse is responsible for providing the immediate and short-term nursing care needs and planning for the long-term nursing care needs of patients according to the Indiana Nurse Practice Act and established Scott Memorial Hospital nursing policies, procedures and standards.
Qualifications – External
*Education:* Graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
*Required Experience: *2 years RN experience, with 1 year Emergency Department preferred. ACLS, PALS and BLS certification.
*Licensure:* Registered nurse in the State of Indiana

*Equipment:* Computer, telephone, and patient care equipment as specified on nursing units.
