Providesdirectpatientcaretopatientsusingthenursingprocessinaccordancewithapplicablescopeand standards of practice in Inpatient Rehab.
Performsplanofcareintervention,includingmedicationadministration,specimencollection,clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documentspatientcaregiven.
Monitors,records,andcommunicatespatientconditionasappropriatetocareteam,physician,patient, and family.
Assistspatientswithperformingactivitiesofdailyliving,includingpersonalhygiene,elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaboratesasneededacrossdisciplinestocoordinatepatientcare,includingpatienttransfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluateslearningneedsofpatientand/orfamilyandprovidespatient/familyeducationappropriateto age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Worksasanadvocateforthephysicalandemotionalwell-beingofthepatient.
Performspatientcareinaccordancewithapplicablescopeandstandardsofpracticeinothernursing units as necessary.

RequiredSkills
Requirescriticalthinkingskills,decisivejudgmentandtheabilitytoworkwithminimalsupervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.
Certifications:
