Overview

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Wound Care

Reports to: Program Director Wound Care

*Minimum Education*
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or RN Diploma in Nursing – Required

*Required Skills*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.

Certifications:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) – Required to be current upon hire.

Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure – Required

1 year nursing experience in Medical/Surgical, Homecare or Wound care – Preferred
