**Description**
This position is hybrid/remote and can sit in the footprint of Providence in the state of TX. Ideal candidate would reside in Lubbock, TX main office location. Possible required travel up to 10% of work schedule

A Security Engineer on the Security Operations Triage Team, entry level position, performs Tier 1 work to include complex identity and access management implementation, working with Active Directory, Epic access granting, processing tickets in ServiceNow, and using additional tools to complete ticket work. Skills needed include great writing and communication skills, the ability to learn and adapt to change, and the ability to perform work independently while following written documentation to remain compliant

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 1 year Related experience; 1-3 years preferred.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering. Or equivalent educ/experience
+ Upon hire: Comptia Security+, SANS GIAC
+ Background or basic understanding of healthcare preferable
The salary range listed for this position MIN:$31.82 to MAX:$50.36 per hour is based upon the primary work location XXX posted. This position is remote. Salary range and offers are determined by internal pay equity and geographic cost of living differences. Salary range will vary from State and region. Salary max is limited to 75% range in order to continue to offer internal pay growth. We welcome open and transparent discussions on salary at Providence.
