Position Summary:
The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Assists staff with unruly visitors and patients, alleviates plant safety and environmental conditions.
Reports to: Supervisor Security/Emergency Prep
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
*Minimum Education*
High school diploma or equivalent

*Minimum Work Experience*
Minimum of 2 years of Law Enforcement experience or Minimum of 5 years security experience in a healthcare setting or 5 years security experience including documented de-escalation training or Military experience consisting of law enforcement training and / or documented de-escalation training on DD-214 with an Honorable Discharge.
