Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Job Description: The Senior Audit Manager is responsible for auditing various Lines of Business (LOBs) with varying scales and scopes. Key responsibilities include developing audit plans, assessing issues for impact, assigning severity ratings, producing audit reports, and managing business partner relationships. This role involves evaluating the control environment, fostering an inclusive work environment, and managing the development of personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of LOBs, producing timely audit reports that summarize results for management.
  • Develop audit plans, assess risks, and provide coverage for current and emerging risks.
  • Proactively identify risks, analyze themes, and prioritize areas based on the company’s risk profile and control environment.
  • Support Corporate Audit's mission, goals, and strategies while driving operational effectiveness and leading change initiatives.
  • Lead the design and promotion of innovative tools and technological elements to ensure continuous coverage of company risks.
  • Maintain business partner relationships, challenging management to adopt effective policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Manage team performance through training, mentoring, and defining development plans.
  • Report to a Director, providing independent and objective assurance to improve the organization’s operations and compliance with key regulations by evaluating risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • Oversee a team of auditors in performing independent testing of high-profile, enterprise-wide focus areas.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and Risk divisions to manage audit reviews of Financial Contingency Plans, Recovery Plans, and Title I and Title II Resolution Plans.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance, Finance, or other relevant fields.
  • Working knowledge of Financial Contingency Plans, Recovery Plans, and Resolution Plans regulations, and assurance testing of Liquidity and Capital capabilities.
  • Ability to manage audit projects within a risk-based audit methodology and provide coaching and training to junior associates.
  • Solid understanding of internal audit processes and methodology requirements.
