Position Overview/Responsibilities for Automation Engineer: 

  • Development of the test automation framework to optimize exiting framework per the latest updates.
  • Design, develop and execute automated test scripts.
  • Analyze automation test results, identifying defects or areas for improvement in software quality.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for automated testing infrastructure and tools.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of automation processes and methodologies
  • Regularly coach and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Provide test measurements (KPI’s) to track and communicate test progress and defect status.

Required Skills for the Automation Engineer: 

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Automation Testing Engineer
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#

 

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
  • Ability to mentor junior testers
  • Strong working knowledge of agile methodology
