Senior Business Analyst
Los Angeles, California / Remote except for in-person quarterly meetings
ARC Group seeks a Senior Business Analyst for a remote opportunity with a Los Angeles-based client in the medical/health industry. Although remote, quarterly meetings at the Los Angeles headquarters are required. Previous experience in the healthcare industry is essential for this role as well as the web application QNXT and residing in the State of California on day one of starting with our client.Â

Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst drives business process improvement through systematic investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of functional business specifications. This role manages the requirements development process, eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and verifying multiple levels of requirements from an end-to-end perspective, and supports ongoing requirements management. The position entails developing reports and analyses for the department and involves daily communication and coordination with IT efforts. Responsibilities include:
- Develop functional and user acceptance test plans and scenarios. Coordinate testing by executing the strategy, scheduling resources, and tracking performance.
- Collaborate with IT on department-related efforts, including Service Requests and BRD writing. Coordinate data requests from internal departments, assisting IT with criteria definition. Delegate data and reporting requests to business analysts. Facilitate collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community and technical and development resources. Prepare status updates for enterprise distribution and communication.
- Act as technical support and liaison to designated IT personnel, providing testing, support, and feedback on enhancement requests and updates/releases. Adhere to release schedules. Provide analytical support for critical corporate initiatives, including system migrations, consolidations, process improvement projects, and product installations.
- Contribute to the development of data models and interface design specifications. Support stakeholder roadmaps and audits as needed.
- Oversee business process support across multiple client engagements. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding department submission requirements. Review data submissions against established benchmarks and coordinate correction and improvement efforts. Monitor timely and accurate outbound data submissions to state and federal recipients.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated analytical and technical prowess, showcased by a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a quantitative role such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Programming Analyst, Claims Processing, or Encounter Processing.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with QNXT – a web-based healthcare management systemÂ
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst in the Medical/Healthcare industry.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree.
- Proficient in working at the highest technical level across most phases of systems analysis.
- Residency in the State of California upon commencement of employment and ability to attend quarterly meetings at the Los Angeles, California headquarters are required.
