SENIOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT
ARC Group is seeking a highly experienced Business Project Manager to join our client in their Miami, FL offices and direct enterprise projects. This is NOT an IT PM but is a direct-hire role with an industry leading client that is focused on distribution and in the early stages of a multi-year critical growth plan (from their current $300M position).  Some projects will be IT focused, but you will lead from a non-IT perspective.

The Senior Business Project Manager reports to the CEO and is responsible for leading large-scale enterprise projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. The person should have some business knowledge and the ability to project manage, which requires presentations, communications, and written documents.

The Senior Business Project Manager will actively coordinate activities between multiple projects, giving detailed attention to strategy and implementation. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and results-driven professional with extensive experience in managing complex projects and teams.

Senior Business Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring project scope, schedule, and budget are effectively managed and delivered
  • Strategize to ensure the projects are successful in meeting the organizational and business goals
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and alignment with project goals and objectives
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date, including project plans, status reports, and change requests
  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and sponsors
  • Ensure quality standards are met and project deliverables are of high quality
  • Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and standards

Senior Business Project Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time, within scope, and on budget
  • We need a generalist who is organized, able to multi-task across the organization,
  • The person should have some business knowledge and the ability to project manage, which requires presentations, communications, and written documents. A generalist in terms of knowledge could suffice.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, provide change management, manage risks and issues, and track project progress
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
  • Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • PMP or other project management certification is highly desirable
