**Job Summary**
Assess, regulate, organize, and coordinate learning programs in accordance with organizational strategy and accreditation regulations. Primary responsibility to design, create, implement and oversee programs, services, and workflows that are part of Sanford’s Department of Labor Nursing Expansion Grant. This includes working with academic partners and financial aid offices to establish tuition reimbursement, establishing and implementing a support services program for nursing interns, collect/manage data for the required intern tracking, prepare quarterly reports, and support the electronic intern pathway project. This candidate will work on projects as assigned and as time allows, but supporting the grant workplan in collaboration with the grant program director is the primary responsibility. Candidate with RN degree preferred. Delegates the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary to support learning and development. Collaborates with educational facilities, employees, and other community agencies to provide education to Sanford employees, students and/or community members. Possess a working knowledge accreditation standards for programs specific to individual’s area of responsibility. Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures that are necessary for a comprehensive learning program. Provide guidance and direction to administrators, other educators, and/or health team members to successfully meet regulations. Flexibility as well as effective planning and organizational skills are required. Ability to develop strong working relationships, manage projects, facilitate change processes and effectively communicate to achieve organizational goals. Demonstrates successfully working with diverse groups of people in order to accomplish a common goal. Demonstrate flexibility as well as effective planning and organizational skills. Effective communication skills are essential: personal, verbal, written, and electronic. Ability to function in a collaborative, fast-paced, customer-driven organization. Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office/Windows applications, analytical decision-making, information gathering, presentation, project management.
**Qualifications**
Master’s degree required. Field of study preference based on department training focus and specialties.
In lieu of Master’s degree, will consider minimum eight years working experience equivalency. Additionally, have a minimum of four years’ experience in a healthcare environment providing education/training, including the use of automated software applications. Ideally have at least two years project management experience as well as knowledge of adult learning principles and training methods is preferred.
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications based on program training needs of the department and population focus.
