**Job Summary**
Applies extensive knowledge and skills to complete all aspects of cloud based systems from start to finish. Supports the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure services and products. Analyze, determine and document cloud infrastructure requirements and specifications. Implement automation and orchestration solutions and automation scripts. Interface between application development, support and infrastructure support teams.
Create operations and general knowledge documentation relating to cloud products. Develop and manage automated monitors for performance and quality. Configure and document cloud network routes, subnets and NACLs. Manage and administer access authentication methods and role-based access.
Analyze workloads and optimize performance and cost. Ensure that all systems comply with security and vulnerability standards. Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of our Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Analyze on-premises applications and make migration recommendations to AWS/Azure.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide hands-on support during emergencies, outages, and service transitions. Ability to write technical documentation (platform architecture, strategy, engineering) and work on multiple concurrent complex projects.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science, math, engineering, or related field required.
Must have 2 years’ experience with Amazon Web Services(AWS) and/or MS Azure and 4 years in Windows and Linux server or infrastructure system administration in a large scale environment. Scripting skills in Powershell, Bash and Python are preferred. Experience with version control repositories, configuration management frameworks and CI/CD pipeline automation tools is a plus. Knowledge of networking fundamentals to support Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Networks, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS.
One of more of the following certifications are preferred:
* AWS – DevOps Engineer
* AWS – Solution Architect Professional / Associate
* Microsoft AZ-300 & 500
* Microsoft AZ-400
