**_Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH’s objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise._**
**Providence is calling a Senior Director Supply Chain who will:**
+ Be accountable for the collaborative development, integration, implementation, and optimization of the REH Operations and Logistics strategy at the Providence Health and Services Regional level
+ Work with key business and operational stakeholders within their specific region as well as their peers in the other Supply Chain regions and the Director, Enterprise Inventory Management Operations
+ Participate in, lead, and partner with others on REH Operations and Logistics strategic integration efforts
+ Develop and execute strategic plans around Providence-wide REH Operations and Logistics initiatives
+ Ensure a compliant, effective, and streamlined operational REH experience for business and patient constituent groups
+ Lead contract implementation and conversion through their ministries
+ Administer all Supply Chain operations and logistics functions
+ Lead the Supply Chain operations at all acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long term care facilities and warehouse operations within their respective regions
+ Be accountable for the management of all perpetual and periodic inventories throughout the region and all supplies received, stored, and issued at Providence ministries within their respective regions
+ Be responsible for management of approximately $5 to $15 million in accountable inventory and approximately $26 to $80 million in annual inventory issued to Providence ministries
**_Please note the following important details regarding this role:_**
+ This position will require for you to travel throughout an assigned territory week over week
+ The region / territory that this position supports is throughout **Northern California**
+ Your work schedule will vary and on occasion will include weekends
+ Providence is open to offering relocation assistance for this role, if relocation assistance is offered, the timeline to relocate would be within 30 days of an established start date
**_Required qualifications for this position include:_**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business or Logistics / Supply Chain Management **-OR-** a combination of equivalent education and experience
+ 10+ years of Relevant supply chain management experience in any industry
+ 5+ years of Logistics and Operational leadership experience in a healthcare setting
+ Experience creating and successfully executing strategic plans for highly complex issues
+ Healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting
+ Experience standardizing complex and disparate processes
+ Experience in process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems
**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**
+ Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics Management **-OR-** another related field of study
+ Formal training in Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement programs
+ Certification either as a Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) from the American Hospital Association
+ Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from the Society of Logistics Engineers or similar certification
