Senior Engineer, Identity Engineering

*What you’ll do:*
As a Sr. Engineer, Identity Engineering, you will focus on ensuring secure access for employees, vendors, contractors, and external users, with involvement in access lifecycle management for Active Directory integrated systems. The engineer collaborates on access request workflows to maintain a secure environment for healthcare operations. The Senior Engineer, Identity Engineering role plays a pivotal role in safeguarding Lifepoint’s data and systems by designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Identity & Access Management (IAM) program. This position will lead initiatives to ensure secure access for all users, including employees, vendors, contractors, and external partners and will collaborate with various teams to streamline access workflows, optimize access controls, and integrate IAM solutions with on-premises and cloud environments.
*Responsibilities:*
* Design and implement IAM solutions aligned with best practices, security standards, and company policies.
* Lead access lifecycle management for Active Directory integrated systems.
* Collaborate with application owners and infrastructure teams to ensure access tools and processes align with overall security strategy.
* Manage and optimize daily operations for IAM tools, including Delinea Secret Server, BeyondTrust PAM, One
* Identity Active Roles, Okta Universal Directory, Microsoft 365 (Azure AD, AAD Connect, SAML, MFA), and Active Directory.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and procedures for IAM systems.
* Troubleshoot complex access issues and identity integrations.
* Champion and contribute to IAM integration with cloud providers.
* Foster cross-functional collaboration with Infrastructure Services, Information Security, and business stakeholders.
* Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging IAM technologies.
* Evaluate and enhance user access control processes in line with best practices and company policies.
*What you’ll need:*
*EDUCATION:*University (Degree) Preferred or equivalent experience.
*EXPERIENCE:*5 or more years of information technology experience; Experience with at least one of the following: identity management platforms; Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Okta
*CERTIFICATIONS:*Certifications with the following technologies are a plus: IGA platforms, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Delinea, BeyondTrust.
