**Description**
**Senior Quality Analyst (100% Remote, Full time, Day shift, and Schedule is 8:00am – 4:30pm)**
The Senior Quality Data Analyst position is responsible for designing and implementing advanced strategic quality, patient safety, regulatory, and process improvement data analytics for the Providence Oregon Brain and Spine Stroke program. This requires the use of advanced analytical skills and process improvement methodologies to design evaluation plans, coordinate data collection, management, and reporting across groups, and to partner with other analysts, to provide decision recommendations to clinical leadership. Obtaining, cleaning, and reconciling data from multiple data sources to determine the most accurate data to present to guide decision-making. Being able to communicate complex concepts through visualization tools to support leadership decision making. Prioritization of multiple projects to meet deadlines and continual attention to maintaining the processes for reporting including documentation on the report of the key criteria used (standard of work, standard operating procedures).

**Job specific knowledge and skills:**
+ An in-depth specialized skill set in the following areas: statistical analyses, programming and technical data management, reporting systems and information presentation, or database development.
+ Advanced knowledge of healthcare intelligence and data reporting tools. Advance knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
+ Ability to use multiple systems and data reporting tools to design and distribute information from multiple data sources to customers.
+ Intermediate knowledge of statistical programming and statistical methods for analysis of healthcare data, to monitor improvement and explore process variation.
+ Ability to lead/facilitate meetings for medium size projects. Demonstrated ability to work with both internal and external customers in a team environment.
+ Working with and leading teams with diverse clinical and data analysis backgrounds, and varying levels of experience in measurement of project metrics.
+ Experience in analytical or project management roles working with multiple data systems, multiple analytical tools, and multiple data reporting tools.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Computer Science, Biological Science, Mathematics, Nursing or related field or equivalent educ/experience
+ 4 years of data analysis experience
+ 2 years experience in a healthcare environment
+ 3 years experience creating and manipulating databases for research and quality improvement project requests
+ 1 year demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Visual Basic, SQL, SAS, SPSS, R or other technical skillsets
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master’s Degree in Public Health, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Program Management or related field or equivalent educ/experience
+ 4 years of data analysis experience
