Responsible for assisting the manager by ensuring adequate flow of patient care through the Radiation Oncology department. Identifies and solves patient problems, contributes to self-development and leadership by teaching and supervising co-workers and students. This position requires the ability to interact with other departments within the Cancer Center. Collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed. Assumes complete responsibility and accountability with little supervision required.

Required qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire
- National Registered Technologist – Radiation Therapy upon hire
- 2 years’ Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years’ Experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Graduate of accredited Radiology Technology Program
California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire
National Registered Technologist – Radiation Therapy upon hire
2 years’ Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting
2 years’ Experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department
