Overview

As a Salesforce Solution Developer, you will be joining the Salesforce CRM applications team in our Information Technology department. You will work alongside administrators and developers who are responsible for managing the system for around 1500 users. Your role will involve enhancing the functionality of the Salesforce CRM platform by developing improved workflows, object models, and configurations that support the growth and evolution of the business.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Brings prior experience to organize and define work for complex or ambiguous situations.**

**Provides consultation, training, and knowledge sharing to other team members.**

**Lead in providing technical expertise to project team members in identifying, creating, and defining requirements.**

**Evaluate processes and procedures to ensure that they are efficient as possible.**

**Recommend solutions to leadership and business stakeholders.**

**Responsible for high priority projects and ensuring that timelines are met.**

**Lead in providing technical expertise to define solutions appropriate for requirements.**

**Code, document, and implement project specifications with little assistance from Solution Architect.**

**Responsible for the design, testing and implementation of solutions.**

**Build prototypes for projects.**

**Evaluate current solutions to ensure that all business requirements are met, and the applications function as efficiently as possible.**

**Develop the direction and strategy of future development projects.**

**Work with business owners and customers to ensure that their needs are being met by current solutions.**

**Work with management on key performance indicators.**

**Work with stakeholders to gather requirements with a focus on providing added value to stakeholders beyond immediate requests.**

**Create and document a solution with developers following Salesforce’s best practices and Acxiom’s architectural design patterns.**

**Engage with and act as liaison with other required support teams.**

**Coordinate with stakeholders on user acceptance testing and change management communications.**

**Lead projects as needed to drive improvement across the Salesforce platform.**

**Work with a cross-functional team of product owners, analysts, and developers to provide the most pertinent solutions to our business requirements.**

**Create and maintain internal documentation on the Salesforce Org and the processes that govern the organization.**

**Help Salesforce admins to monitor and troubleshoot end-user issues.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**

**Bachelor’s Degree**

**Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, configuration, and customization options on Sales and Service Clouds.**

**Documentation and reporting skills.**

**Ability to work in a team environment and work independently.**

**Enterprise reporting experience**

**Business process analysis**

**Familiar with Agile development methodologies**

**Experience with integrating third party applications.**

**Experience designing, coding, testing, and implementing enterprise solutions.**

**Detailed knowledge of the software development lifecycle**

**Experience in leading multiple enterprise level projects**

**Experience in working with multiple levels of management to solve complex business problems.**

**Ability to work with little to no supervision.**

**Ability to explain complex solutions to business owners and customers.**

**Experience in presenting solutions to medium/large audiences**

**Ability to identify business needs and solutions to overcome obstacles, remove blockers, and deliver on objectives.**

**Ability to articulate ideas through effective written, verbal, and listening skills.**

**Strong remote meeting and communication skills**

**3+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform**

**Preferred**

**Experience with Salesforce Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ)**

**Ability to resolve issues with minimal oversight, and natural problem-solving abilities.**

**Experience on Salesforce.com in an Administrative, Development, and/or Solution Analyst capacity**

**Preference is given to Salesforce certifications.**
