This opportunity is a customer service and sales position within a successful STATE FARM Agency. The agency is a dynamic organization backed by many years of industry experience. It is a vital role for the agency, as it involves both the acquisition (proactive & reactive) of new business and the effective servicing of existing policies and households.

Insurance Customer Service Representative Requirements

  • Property and casualty license strongly preferred
  • Minimum one-year insurance or financial services sales experience preferred
  • A genuine care and concern for people and their insurance needs
  • The ability to multi-task while utilizing a tech-savvy approach to sales and service
  • The ability to work within a team concept in a fun, fast-paced office environment
  • Must be able to persevere through difficult client interactions

Insurance Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

  • Servicing of existing customers/households
  • Engaging in proactive policy retention strategies
  • Quoting and preparation of insurance proposals
  • Setting and conducting Insurance and Financial Reviews (IFR’s)
  • Being personally responsible for hitting team and individual sales goals
  • Assisting the agent with various research and follow-up tasks
