Overview
The Student Nurse Tech under the supervision of a RN, performs basic patient care activities such as monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
Full-Time, 7p-7a. High School Diploma or GED. Currently enrolled in a nursing program (RN or LPN) having completed the first semester of study in their nursing program or recent nursing school graduate pending State Boards for RN or LPN. BLS required upon hire or must obtain within 90 days of employment.
