Overview
The Surgical Tech will assist the surgical nursing staff by performing routine duties in caring for patients. This individual will provide care as related to post-op care, isolation techniques, safety and sterile techniques. This individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on the physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria for the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population served.
*_Education:_* High school diploma required.
*_Experience:_* Requires one (1) year of surgical or med/surg experience. Must live within 30 minutes of the facility because you will be required to take call.
*_Certifications:_* CNA certification is strongly preferred. BLS is required.
