ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer with experience working with IBM Guardium! This position is 100% remote. This is starting out as a contract position running through October 2024 with strong potential to convert to FTE. Candidates must have an understanding of Guardium Architecture and Installing S-TAPS and GIM, External S-TAPS, for Databases. PostgreSQL, Mongo, Hadoop.
1. Experience Administrating and Managing Guardium or equivalent Tools (database activity monitoring tools)
2. Previous Linux or Windows Engineer/Administrator.
3. The ability to troubleshoot Database access/monitoring issues
Requirements:
- Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
- Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.
- Extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
- High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
- Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Experience using Agile methodology
Required Experience:
3-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience demonstrating proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technology
Required Education:
Related Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience
