**Description**

**Telecommunications Network Engineer II IS – 100% Remote within the Providence footprint of states (WA, OR, CA, MT, NM, TX, AK)**

Providence, Information Services organization is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer to support an enterprise TDM and VoIP-Based telecommunications systems within a large health care environment. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for all telecom designs and standards implemented across the PSJH system. They will ensure the efficient and reliable operation of all telecom infrastructure and services while providing technical support and guidance to customers and other stakeholders. The position requires a strong technical background, including expertise in both legacy TDM and VoIP-based telecommunications technologies in a large enterprise environment. It is also important the candidate possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires the candidate performs all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience

+ 3 years related experience;

+ Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. Scripting with one of PowerShell, Perl, Ansible, VB Script, Python, SQL

+ Experience with n-tier solutions

+ Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 5 years Enterprise experience managing and supporting legacy telecommunications systems, such as Avaya and Nortel TDM PBX, Analog Gateways, and ISDN BRI and PRI.

+ 5 years Enterprise telecom support experience.

+ 3 years Enterprise Cisco Unified Communications Manager design and support experience.

**Salary Range by location: *hourly listed – position is salaried**

WA Puget Sound Oregon (Portland) Alaska (Anchorage) Min: $46.41, Max: $76.20

Oregon (Hood River, Medford, Seaside) Min: $43.26, Max: $71.04

Eastern Washington (Richland, Spokane, Walla Walla) Min: $41.30, Max: $ 67.81

Montana Min: $37.36, Max: $61.35

Texas/ NM Min: $35.40, Max: $58.12
