Job Description:
- Engage and Inspire: Create a classroom environment that is engaging and conducive to learning.
- Implement Proven Curriculum: Leverage a curriculum that has been proven to drive the academic success of students. Utilize provided curricular resources to meet the needs of your students.
- Data-Driven Instruction: Analyze and use student data to inform your teaching strategies.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Participate collaboratively and professionally with fellow teachers and support staff to meet the goals and individual needs of each student.
Requirements:
- Third Grade Reading Guarantee (TGRG): Ohio requires 3rd-grade teachers to meet the “Third Grade Reading Guarantee” standards. Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an Initial 4-Year Resident Educator or 5-Year Professional license issued on or after 7/1/2017.
- Hold a master’s degree in Reading or Literacy from an accredited university.
- Hold the Reading (PK-12) Teaching Endorsement.
- Have passing test scores on the Praxis 5203 state assessment.
