IDR is seeking a Training Development Coordinator for one of our retail clients in the Bolingbrook, IL area. This is a hybrid, 4-month contract opportunity. If you are looking for an opportunity to join a large organization and work within an ever-growing team-oriented culture, please apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Develop background/knowledge on the Merchandising and/or MP&I roles including daily responsibilities, systems used, processes and reporting.
- Facilitate cross functional meetings to gather feedback regarding pain points, as well as identify gaps in processes, training, systems and reporting.
- Coordinate & facilitate training sessions in conjunction with internal partners
- Identify process improvement opportunities for the Merchant and/or MP&I teams and collaboratively develop training and documentation that defines best practices.
- Tie business knowledge to creating process maps for processes and systems used.
- Build trust with cross functional partners
- Collaboratively partner with business SMES and Merchandise Process Team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years direct work experience in process improvement/best practices
- Must have previous experience in Fashion, Beauty, or Retail
- Critical thinking and creative resolution
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter and growth mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
