Overview
**Description**
Under the direction of the Manager, the Supervisor of Utilization Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to serving as a representative for the medical group in working harmoniously with the PPO health plans, patients and other healthcare providers for UM needs. In addition, this position is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training and staff development.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 1 year supervisory experience.
+ Experience with various medical insurances.
+ Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and email systems.
+ CPT, ICD-9 and HCPC coding experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a Healthcare related field, or equivalent education/ experience.
+ 3 years UM/QM experience.

**About the Team**
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
