Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the organization of purchased materials and inventory, equipment and supplies for our warehouse location in Poinciana, FL. This position will assist with planning and developing the processes involved with this new warehouse location. This position will include office tasks and processes so computer knowledge and customer service skills will be required.

Ā Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Ā 

  • Strong Organization Skills and Attention to Detail are a MUST.
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents etc.
  • Ensure effective and safe use of the warehouse equipment.
  • Assess vendor capabilities, develop alternate sources and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Establish department practices and procedures.
  • Manage and / or execute inventory purchases.
  • Implement and adhere to transaction management best practices.
  • Identify and manage risk within the supply chain.
  • Establish key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals.
  • Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control, demand planning, and other optimizations in order to grow the business.
  • Ā Ā Ā Responsible for coordinating and completion of administrative tasks at our operations center
  • Daily support of on-site Management within the Operations and Accounting Departments
  • Perform other and responsibilities that are required or requested.

Ā Job skills Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge of purchasing function concepts and of supplier commodity process and practices.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for report writing presentations and interactions with diverse groups of people inside/outside of the corporation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with PC software (WP, spreadsheets) and technology.Ā 
  • Home Improvement Knowledge is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to effectivelyĀ LEADĀ a small team.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment.

Pay rate $18-$22/hourĀ depending on experience and skill set.

You must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
