Marketers on Demand is currently seeking a Web Developer for our innovative, fast-growing client! We are ideally looking for someone who will optimize their website’s performance, ensure exceptional user experience and drive higher conversion rates.
This is a Hybrid role in Toronto, with 2 days a week in office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end development of their website (planning, testing, and launching new pages)
• Create custom elements within WordPress using efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Work collaboratively to enhance site functionality, user experience, and conversion rates
• Engage with external development teams on various projects
• Implement improvements that increase website performance, optimize speed, usability, and search engine rankings
Key Qualifications:
• Over 2 years of experience with content management systems and WordPress
• Experience building new webpages as well as through templates
• A strong understanding of standard web development (craft clean, reusable code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for web experiences in a mobile-first environment)
• Experience with website analytics (GA4) and other web integration tools (ex. GTM and Optimizely)
• A solid understanding of technical SEO best practices (work with a content team to implement on-page SEO elements)
